My undergraduate senior project; Eunoia is an independently written, produced, recorded, and distributed E.P. that demonstrates how music originally formatted for a 5-piece band can be translated and remixed into contemporary dance music. To complete this I took on various roles such as songwriter, instrumentalist, remixer, marketer, and overall project manager. The thesis of my presentation centered around contextualizing the place of the modern electronic music producer within the backdrop of more classical musicianship. I collaborated with friends and classmates to supplement roles that either weren’t my strength or featured a particular skill. The result is 3 original songs in both Rock and Dance formats that can be streamed or purchased on all major music platforms.
