Tair Haim is a Yemenite Israeli singer songwriter, founder of the internationally acclaimed group A-WA, who took the music world by storm with the mega hit ‘Habib Galbi’, following by millions of views, numerous world tours and great appearances in sessions such as Tiny Desk, SXSW, NY Times and more. Now she returns with a much-anticipated solo debut. Blending her Yemenite heritage with current hip hop sounds, Tair creates a unique ethnic identity dripping with style and essential playlist beats. Tair's musical journey started in Shaharut, a small desert village in the Arava valley of Israel. She began her musical education at a very young age, singing, dancing and acting. Her performing techniques continued to evolve during her mandatory military service, where she served as a soloist in the Israeli Air Force Band. She later studied music at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and graduated with honors from Levinsky College with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. After graduating, Tair formed the band A-WA with her younger sisters, Liron and Tagel. The group’s success was beyond what anyone had imagined. Their debut album "Habib Galbi'' (2015) has amassed over 14 million views on YouTube and has brought them to some of the world’s most famous stages and glamorous venues, including Royal Albert Hall in London. The sisters have been featured in articles in major publications such as Rolling Stone, Vogue, Glamour and more.
