Besides leading bands Vapors of Morphine and The Busted Jug Band (as Pee Wee Hernando), Jeremy Lyons works as a solo folk and blues artist in venues for all ages. Lyons began his career as a New Orleans street musician in the 1990s, went on to play clubs and festivals (New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival eight times under his own name), and eventually moved to the Boston area in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Since then he has gained a reputation as a solid multi-instrumentalist, singer and bandleader, as well as children's entertainer and instructor. His solo album Make It Better shows off his songwriting skills as well.
