An upcoming artist with a volcanic rise through the independent scene of New Jersey, Angel ' Kohai ' Diaz is a musician that produces and represents a sound unique to his soul and his intentions for this world. Blending rap, hip hop, traditional shamisen music, and punk, Kohai's music is often considered a portal from the listener's mind to the streets of a city called 'Neo Tokyo.' Kohai's musical career officially began upon his joining a burgeoning, yet now defunct  rap group in secondary school. Since then he's created many projects highlighting his ability as a standalone musician and as a member of a greater collective in Psyched.
