Sway Burr is a Connecticut based rapper whose unique approach to vibrant, bounce driven production makes him one the most promising up and coming artists of the 2020's. Growing up Burr would find himself coming home from middle school to find new beats and vocals online to create mashups. Positive feedback was enough to have Burr hooked onto music. As Burr entered high school he would find himself filling his notebooks with raps. At the time Burr would find himself heavily inspired by Lil Wayne & Kanye West. He grew fascinated with the emergence and success of acts like Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Max B, & Kid Cudi by way of the internet. Burr created an online buzz by uploading songs and mashups to Soundcloud earning him Millions of streams. In 2020 Burr would gain popularity from releasing two mixtapes Soss, & Soss 2 (The Story of Stress & Sorrow) both inspired by the production style of Pi’erre Bourne. The SOSS Album series continued for four projects with S3 being the most recognized installment. With a few viral songs under his belt Burr continues to release and work on new music under his label Burr Mafia.
