Created by Parisian producer & DJ Stephane Dureisseix in 1996, Bamboo Forest deliveries a unique French touch of what full-on psytrance is supposed to be: groovy, pumping, happy and psychedelic. Stephane started to build a rock band when he was 16 years old then studied jazz, piano, harmonium and music composition until 1996. Originally, it began as solo project of Stéphane, Yann Hénaff joined him later as a second member of the group, until the second album. Bamboo Forest has since then released 6 albums and a wide variety of single releases, and about 60 tracks on labels such Spirit Zone, Spiral Trax, Dragonfly, Moon Spirits, TIP World, Vision Quest, Turbo Trance, Agitato, Flying Rhino, Trancient, 3D Vision, Avatar Records, Proton Brazil, among others. His challenging drum patterns and percussion, which were accompanied by a deep and uncompromising bassline, rocked dance floors and festivals all over the globe, turning Stephane to one of the biggest and busiest performers in the psytrance world.
