3rd Revolution (or thirdrev) is a producer from Long Beach, NY. After releasing a series of beat tapes on his SoundCloud account, 2019's Spinning is his first Spotify release, followed by SUMN ELSE with rapper Justwoz. On 9/2/2022, 3rd Revolution and Justwoz released their follow-up opus, ELECTRIC SQUALOR. 3rd Revolution lists his biggest influences in hip-hop as Madlib, MF DOOM, RZA, Q-Tip, and El-P, while also taking major inspiration from other genres such as Funk, Psychedelic, and Jazz, most notably Parliament-Funkadelic, Miles Davis, Flying Lotus, Jimi Hendrix and Herbie Hancock.
