Biography

Based in Santa Cruz, California, Craig's Brother has long been recognized as one of the most innovative and ground-breaking bands in melodic punk rock. Formed in 1995, the band immediately gained notoriety for its cutting-edge sound, shredding riffs, and unmatched lyrical content. Their first full length record, Homecoming, was released to international acclaim on Tooth & Nail Records in 1998. In 2001, the band took things into uncharted territory with the release of their 2nd LP, Lost at Sea. Craig's Brother's sound has been profoundly influential on a number of bands, most notably Yellowcard, whose lead singer/guitar player, Ryan Key, spent six months playing with CB before joining Yellowcard. In 2003, CB signed to Takeover Records. After releasing the Epidemic EP in 2004, the band went on to play sold-out shows, touring in Canada with Mute and in the eastern USA with Yellowcard, The Starting Line, and The Matches. CB put out The Insidious Lie (LP) in 2011, followed by the Devils in the Details (EP) in 2019. In 2021, CB signed with People of Punk Rock Records. They will be releasing a new record on 11/11/22 titled Easily Won, Rarely Deserved and have put out a self-titled EP leading up to the full-length’s long-awaited release. Craig's Brother plans to perform select festival shows and tours in 2023 and beyond. In the meantime, you can catch them on your favorite punk podcasts and you can hear their new singles featured on the ‘All New Punk’ Spotify playlist.
