Mother. Artist. Author. Activist. In 2004, Tori Alamaze was a background vocalist on Cee-Lo’s album, “The Soul Machine.” The same year, Tori toured with Outkast as a singer and dancer, performing at the GRAMMYS, Brit Awards and the NBA Allstar game. She contributed background vocals to Outkast’s GRAMMY winning “Speakerboxx/The Love Below” and then with Cee-Lo’s Radiculture Records. Tori recorded her debut album and released the single “Don’t Cha.” After generating buzz at radio, it’s success was eclipsed when the record was given to the Pussycat Dolls and made famous. As a result, her 2006 release was scrapped; her resilience tested. Over the years, Tori released a series of children’s and young adult books. She is also an ambassador for women with IC (Incompetent Cervix). Tori has returned to her roots of narrating eternal truths via emotionally compelling lyrics. On “Magick, Blessings & Bullsh&$t” the poetically charged songstress demonstrates higher ideals as well as embraces invention, balance, and vision. From the mystical title to the vibrational energy of the production, every aspect of MBB has meaning and intention. Says Alamaze, “Magick is being wise enough to follow an impulse then witnessing a positive result of following that impulse.” From professional to personal battles, the brilliant creator has overcome every challenge with grace. Tori is taking no Bulls&$t as she spreads her Magick and Blessings with the world.
