Formed in 1991 in New Jersey, US, Sunshine Blind were the non- stop touring Goth Rock band of the '90's. Their barn-burning guitar fest of a first album, "Love the Sky to Death", originally on Scream Records, got them a deal with Energy Records in New York, for their second album, "Liquid" in 1996. Liquid was a more mature release, but the rock guitars still fueled the soaring goth anthems. They continued to play shows and toured with many of the Cleopatra goth bands, like Switchblade Symphony and The Wake (US), as well as Faith and the Muse, Rosetta Stone, Cruxshadows, and many more. In 1997 they were thrown off a bill opening for The Sisters of Mercy because singer Andrew Eldritch proclaimed them "Too Goth". They released one more album, in a more "dark trip hop" style, called "I Carry You" in 2003. Caroline Blind continues to record new music under her name, and released her first solo album "The Spell Between" in 2020.
