Naomi Martin, the mother of the 90s country singer Dale Daniel, was the songwriter who wrote Ronnie Milsap’s country hit ‘Let’s Take The Long Way Around The World’ and Charley Pride’s ‘My Eyes Can Only See As Far As You’. Dale Daniel was raised in Nashville and she wrote her first song, ‘I Give Up’, when 14. In 1991 she became a member of Moe Bandy’s band. She launched her solo career withLuck Of My Own in 1994 and sang backing vocals on Lisa Brokop’s Every Little Girl’s Dream. Lorrie Morgan has recorded a song written by Dale and her mother, ‘Someone To Call Me Darlin’’.
