“Imagine that somewhere in the untapped treasures of the late Prince’s legendary vault of music is an album made for kids. That’s what Uncle Jumbo sounds like.” - Houston Press … The same Houston Press I grew up reading, especially the few pages at the end of the Music section where it showed who all would be performing at whichever venue in town. That’s very special to me. 
 Anyway, what I really call my style is T-shirt Music, and this is what I mean: Long ago I was a coach in sports camps for kids and when we’d get to the end of however long the camp was, the kids would get a T-shirt. Whenever I had the chance, I would give them shirts that were entirely too big … I’m talkin’ early 2000’s tall tees on toddlers… basically only good to wear as pajamas. BUT the kids were always so happy to get the shirts; they loved the designs, and you know at that age there’s nothing like a good surprise. After years go by, as the shirt starts to actually fit as it should, the kids now have this unique thing that stands out and also brings them back to the days when they first got it. It’s something to grow into, to live in, and something to remind you of all the memories we create. That’s what I intend to do with my music. 
 I’m here to help find joy, to bring connection, to spread kindness, and to cultivate well-being… and we’re gonna jam along the way.
