Baal & Mortimer is the transdisciplinary project by A. Grübler which is primarily interested in negotiating questions of resilience, autonomy and magic. After the debut album DEIXIS via Bureau B (2020), THE TORSO TAPES EP via Italic (2021), she released the album CON-STRUCT via Bureau B in September 2022, working with the sound archives of electronic music pioneer Conrad Schnitzler. She has collaborated with Black Merlin as well as Musiccargo and was the mentee of Laurel Halo for the Berlin Amplify program in 2018.
