Daniel Kozlowski or "River" is a composer/producer/multi-instrumentalist who creates in the Metro Detroit area. Currently studying for a BA in Music Technology, River's creative tendencies lie on a broad spectrum. His works include genres such as guitar focused 'one man band' music, electronic IDM style tracks, ambient field recordings, and coded compositions using IDEs Max and Supercollider. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aside from solo work, River also forms one half of the performance art duo Rivvren alongside dancer and choreographer Renee Dempsey. Rivvren attempts to explore and eradicate the boundaries between dance, music, and performance art. The duo has performed multiple successful composition showings at various dance venues, and is currently working on a stand-alone show as well as a YouTube series of videos entitled "Mindfulness Breaks".
