Almost 20 years after they decided to join efforts and run Scsi-9 as a duo, Anton and Maxim are facing their 6th full length album now will be released in late 2018. This double 12” with digital bonus tracks is a result of mostly analog experiments (hence the title), exploring the idea that music is a supermaterial thing, defeating time and distance. In September 2018 another 12” will be released with Cologne’s “200” label. Now they can look back on over 50 releases with more than 200 tracks so far, on such labels like Traum/Trapez, Salo, Freizeitglauben, Morris Audio, Kompakt, Neuton, Tyrant, Klik, 200, Pro-Tez and many more. This makes them probably the most regarded and well-known house/techno duo from Russia. By press and critics they were labeled as “new romantics” and originators of the “Russian Deep”. Their touring record is equally impressive, with gigs at grands like London’s “Fabric”, “D-Edge” in San Paulo, Berlin’s “Panorama Bar” and at festivals like Monegros (Spain), Transmediale (Berlin), Fusion (Berlin), Schatzalp (Switzerland), RADAR (Turkey), Tape (Mexico), Superfreq (UK), Global Gathering (Ukraine) or Synthposium (Russia). They played also in Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Japan, Australia, and all over Europe. Together with LA fellow Ed Vertov they also run Pro-Tez – a vinyl label in Kompakt’s distribution with more than 40 releases to date. Pro-Tez features intelligent dance, ultradeep and dub techno music produced mostly by young artists. <br>
