Axel Bauer is a French Rock pop songwriter and singer whose several time awarded 1983 track Cargo have carved the French music landscape from the early 80's and make a big impression with his rock and oriental songwriting, enhanced by an epic guitar solo and a video imagined by the artist himself and directed by Mondino, which became the first music video broadcasted on MTV France. Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who, made a cover of it as the song reached a success beyond the French borders, ( Take me Home- from the album Can't Wait to See The Movie ) After the discrete album Les Nouveaux Seigneurs released in 1987 Axel Bauer came out with one of the classiest French rock hit single Eteins la lumière from album Sentinelles released in 1990. in 1998 Simple Mortel came out. A rich and intense album, which although hailed by the critics did not find its audience. Later on in 2002, from the album Personne N'Est Parfait, hit single A ma place feat. French artist Zazie received a massive public recognition. In 2003 was released compilation La désintégrale. In 2006 the album Bad Cowboy. In 2013, Peaux de serpent ; A very intimate and dark album with neo-romantic edges. In 2015 he took part of "Autour de La guitare,"alongside Robben Ford, Bumblefoot, Larry Carlton... In 2017 the Live à Ferber was released. He composed the main track for United Guitars. in 2021 he released C'est Malin , first single of it's upcoming album that will be released on May 13th 2022.
