As an artist, Mumdance is behind some of the most innovative and influential dance records of the last decade. His collaborations with MC Novelist (‘1 Sec’ and ‘Take Time’, released on XL Recordings and Rinse), the critically acclaimed ‘Proto’ album with regular production partner Logos and a series of show-stopping club 12”s with Pinch all echo around the electronic music landscape today. In their summary of the 2010s, Resident Advisor named ‘Take Time’ one of the 20 greatest singles of the decade. With his first release in several years due out in late 2022 and a series of follow-ups already scheduled for 2023, Mumdance looks set to start a new chapter that could be his most prolific and prodigious yet.
