BluuJay is easily one of the best lyricists and hip hop artists of his generation because of his burning passion for hip hop music, storytelling ability, multi syllable rhyme scheme architecture and clever wordplay. Bluujay first gained recognition after joining two rap competitions during the COVID 19 lockdown in 2020. The first was hosted on the facebook platform, to which he came in first place when the top 20 list was released and in the second, which was on instagram, he came in third place. In the fourth quarter of 2021 he joined the MTN The Spotlight competition in which he gave captivating performances that advanced him all the way to the semi finals. He released his first EP titled The Collision Theory in September 2020 and he has gone on to work with the award winning rapper and songwriter, Lution, who featured him on the 14th track of his most recently released album, The Autonomy which was one of the fastest selling albums in Eswatini in 2022
