Electronic composer, producer and musician Robert Logan is a London based artist, his music an intelligent fusion of influences from folk and classical to krautrock and electronica, blending acoustic and electronic instruments. His first album ‘Cognessence’ [2007] prompted an array of rave reviews and support. Still only 19 at the time he was described as “something of a prodigy… a man that is already showing a maturity and a musical/textural understanding that many simply never find.” [BBC experimental]. A second album ‘Inscape’ [2009] and a clutch of EP’s garnered yet more praise and cemented his reputation as an artist with immense talent. 2015 saw him re-emerge with the dazzling new ‘Extasis EP’ and his third full length album ‘Flesh’. This was quickly followed by ‘Flesh Decomposed’ [2016], his 4th album a set of re-imaginings of material from ‘Flesh’. Two releases came in 2017, ‘Sculptor Galaxy’ quickly followed by the eclectic ‘Pop EP’. Alongside his personal recording work, Logan has made a name for himself composing music for film and TV, notably contributing to the Channel 4 drama ‘Top Boy’ and the Oscar winning documentary ‘Taxi To The Dark Side’, whilst continuing to apply his skills as a producer to projects with the likes of Grace Jones, Brigitte Fontaine and Skye [Morcheeba]. He has produced a number of critically acclaimed remixes for a number of high profile artists, including Grace Jones, Red Snapper and Hello Skinny.
