Biography

Lewis Taylor is a UK singer and multi-instrumentalist whose music covers a broad spectrum of genres, including soul, psychedelia, rock and pop. In 1996 and 2000, his debut album and follow-up were released on Island Records to critical acclaim but the label found his unique mix of genres difficult to market and so they parted company. From 2002 onwards, this time on his own label Slow Reality (an anagram of his name), Lewis released "Stoned Pt. 1" (the track "Lovelight" was later covered by Robbie Williams on his "Rudebox" album) "Stoned Pt. 2", "Limited Edition 2004", "The Lost Album" and "In Session 2005". He then decided to step away from the music industry and take some much needed time out for himself. Since his return in 2022, Lewis has released "NUMB", "The Acoustic Album" (2023) and "Pleasures Vol. 1" (2024) his covers album. He continues to work on various projects for future release.
