Recorded in Chicago in 2005, Imaginary Volcano is a rare official document of the incarnation of David McDonnell called The Diminisher. He was aided in his work by many handy and accomplished friends, including Dylan Ryan on drums. Now based in Philly, McDonnell is currently a music professor and a founding member of the band 5th World. He has been a member of Bablicon, Icy Demons, Michael Columbia, Herculaneum, and need new body, among others.
