Biography

In the world of late 90s boy band domination, one name always stood out—Nick Lachey of 98°. In the midst of his rising fame, he co-starred in the MTV reality show Newlyweds and began a solo music career. He released his debut album, SoulO, to much fanfare and subsequently explored acting, making appearances in shows and movies like Charmed and Bewitched. In 2006, he dropped his 2nd solo album, What's Left of Me, which reached number two on the charts. The title track soared to the 6th position on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album became certified gold. He was also tapped to host the NBC vocal competition, The Sing-Off, from 2009-2014. It was then that Lachey married actress/model Vanessa Minnillo and celebrated becoming a dad. He poured his heart into creating the album A Father's Lullaby, which still resonates strongly with families. The seasoned entertainer launched his own record label, Little Nicky, in 2014 and released Soundtrack of My Life in addition to joining the cast of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. In recent years, he's commemorated the 25th anniversary of 98° and the group’s holiday album, This Christmas, remains a perennial classic. He continues to release music and tour with his bandmates. Lachey also collaborated on "Recover" with DJ-Producer LUX and on "Temporary,” with Kara DioGuardi, which was showcased on Netflix's series The Ultimatum. He co-hosts the show (and another, Love is Blind) with his wife.
