After parting with the thrash metal band Destruction, vocalist/bassist Schmier together with guitarist Schmuddel and drummer Jörg Michael (Stratovarius, Mekong Delta, Grave Digger, etc.) decided to carry on as Headhunter and released a number of heavy metal albums – Parody of Life (1990), Bizarre Gardening Accident (1992), Rebirth (1994) and, after rejoining Destruction, Parasite of Society (2008).
