Gary Sanford is known for his work with The Joe Jackson Band but has also Played with Joan Armatrading, Aztec Camera and Kirsty MacColl. 
 In 2020, together with Jacqui Dee, they formed The Peace Lilies when Jacqui was inspired to write her own songs and together with Gary's guitar skills and musical talent, they decided to record and fully produce the tracks. 
The combination of Jacqui's writing and Gary's natural ability to bring the songs to life with his subtle feel for rhythms and emotionally charged guitar melodies, produces a unique Indie Folk/Pop/Americana sound. 
Jacqui is the main vocalists and when singing together they have a natural vocal blend. 
They released their first single - “Make the Change” in July 2020 and have since released 5 more singles. The most recent “Stillness of the Night” which was inspired by coping with the demands of daily life but in the stillness of the night when the world is calm, we reconnect and return to the special place in each others hearts. 
 They have new music planned for 2023 so keep a look out 👀
