Biography

Dardust, aka Dario Faini, is one of the most influential pianists of his generation. His music has been heard at such global events as the Olympics, the Superbowl, the NBA All Star Game and an Apple Product Launch Keynote, to name a few. As an exceptional songwriter and producer, he has scored a string of hits in Italy, with more than 95 Platinum records so far and two victories at the "Sanremo Festival". Currently, as a composer, he released four albums that skillfully mix piano music with electronic forays: the debut one “7”, the sophomore “Birth”, followed by “S.A.D. Storm and Drugs” and “Duality”, released in 2022 on the international market by Artist First and Sony Masterworks. His fifth studio album “Urban Impressionism” was released on November 8th. Dardust once again challenges the conventions of neoclassical and contemporary music, breaking down boundaries between the arts as he typically does. He combines music and architecture, harmonizing contrasts while drawing on new sources of inspiration. Urban Impressionism will be on tour with two special live events in unconventional locations that reflect the album's architectural atmospheres and spirit: on March 12 at Pirelli HangarBicocca in Milan, and on March 14 at La Nuvola in Rome. Starting March 18, the tour will hit the stages of 10 European cities, beginning in Barcelona and continuing through Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Brussels, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Utrecht, and London.
