Biography

The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany Garcia is a voice that tells the stories of women through her lyrics. Winner of 6 Latin GRAMMYs®, she has written and performed some of Latin pop's biggest hits, including 'Hoy Ya Me Voy', 'Alguien', 'Duele Menos' and 'Para Siempre'. Her album 'Soy Yo' was named among the top 50 of the best Latin albums of the decade by Billboard. Her most recent album, 'El Amor Que Merecemos' was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Latin GRAMMYs® and was chosen by Billboard magazine as one of the top 25 Latin albums of 2022. Her single 'La Siguiente' with Christian Nodal, highlights Kany as one of the most diverse singer-songwriters, combining sounds from the regional Mexican genre to create a timeless romantic ballad. The song was nominated at the 2023 Latin GRAMMY awards in the category Best Regional Mexican Song. Her release 'Te Lo Agradezco' alongside Carin Leon highlights Kany within the regional mexican genre, combining sounds from the regional Mexican genre with her captivating lyrics. Her single, "Que Vuelva," an emotional and attractive ballad with Mexican singer-songwriter Carla Morrison reached the #1 position in Pop radio in Mexico.
