Biography

Roll The Dice is a project that mutates with every release. Peder Mannerfelt and Malcolm Pardon’s joint venture smelts a panoply of electronic processes and widescreen classical sensibilities into evocative, imposing compositions with a modernist bent. After releasing their debut album on U.S label Digitalis in 2010 and two subsequent LPs on UK Label Leaf, the duo set up their own label The New Black to carry 2017’s Born To Ruin. Following the album’s release, they embarked on a collaborative series in 2019 entitled Assimilarity with select artists including Pär Grindvik, Alessandro Cortini, Glasser and Goran Kajfes. As a constantly evolving project, Roll The Dice builds on Mannerfelt’s esteemed exploration of experimental techno and Pardon’s accomplished career in television and film soundtracks, with the possibilities for future endeavors as broad as the work they have undertaken thus far.
