JessArose is a singer and songwriter born and raised in New City and Bronx, New York. She began singing at age 5, and when she was 16, she released her first rap remix “Hundreds” on Soundcloud. To build on her gospel upbringing, JessArose pulls elements from neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, and Jazz to influence her sound. The singer/rapper/songwriter emerged from her hiatus in May 2019 with her first collaborative single “That Way”, featuring Cameron Warren. “That Way” reintroduced JessArose as a budding, versatile recording artist, which is evident as her melodies float over the track’s feel-good R&B and Reggae sound. In October 2019, JessArose further solidified her prowess with her alternative-centered singing/rapping performance on “Come to Me’, a 2 pack EP (featuring and produced by Cameron Warren). Following her collaborations, JessArose released her first solo debut single “Oh No Baby” in December 2019,  where she delves deeper into R&B’s sultry tones and executes them with ease. After building an impressive collaborative catalogue, JessArose released her first solo EP, A Rose EP in November 2020. She centers her sound in R&B and Soul for A Rose EP, where she sings about love, relationships, and growing into her own. A Rose’s first song, “Good Lovin’”, JessArose sings “I can’t explain the way I feel about you, it’s yours” foreshadowing the complications of love in the age of social media, a common theme throughout A Rose EP.
