Over a career spanning 30 years, Jeff Reid has created his own brand of Americana music with a message that is as honest and true as the day it was born. Primarily a guitarist, he has played hundreds of clubs, either backing others or performing as a singer and songwriter, produced many CDs by other artist and played on hundreds of recording sessions. Discussing his 2020 release "Windows" he explains, "I began writing the kind of songs I needed to hear. It was the best healing work I could've ever done. I had a challenging childhood and turned to music to escape. As a child, I made my own little world to feel safe and understood. I needed to feel that space again and come full circle. l made this record for the same reason that I wrote my first song. It wasn't for anybody else: it was for me. " A talented songwriter and performer, Jeff splits his time between solo outings and collaborations with other area musicians like John Fonvielle, with whom he issued the EP Radio Ranch (2021) and the upcoming album Mainline America (2022). Reid turned a new page in June 2021 with the release of "Radio Ranch". Written and performed with friend and fellow songwriter John Fonvielle during the pandemic lockdown - it's a collection of songs about loss, redemption, the places we leave and the homes we make for ourselves.
