Starr, Tony Vega, Domingo Quiñones, India, Victor Manuelle and a multitude of other salsa luminaries. He brings to Latin Jazz the very best of many different musical genres to create a unique style. By age 14, Humberto was performing professionally with his father’s band. Since then, he has share the stage with great Jazz and Latin Jazz stars such as: Chick Corea, Eddie Gómez, Paquito D’Rivera, Gato Barbieri, Justo Almario, Ray Barretto, Stanley Clarke, Chucho Valdés, Terence Blanchard, Dave Valentín, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Michel Camilo, Michael Brecker and Herb Alpert with whom he recorded the album Passion Dance in 1997. Humberto has received four Grammy nominations for his production work and his production for tropical pop star Olga Tañón won a Grammy in 2001.
