Tompall & The Glaser Brothers, also known as The Glaser Brothers, are three siblings-Tompall, Chuck & Jim. The Glaser Brothers were Outlaws with in Country Music. Their music moved away from ‘The Nashville Sound’ blending rock and folk rhythms with country instrumentation. Their music and songwriting helped expand the horizons of country music at a time when it had reached the limit of its original, conservative impulses. Among their many successes on the US Country charts were ‘Rings’, ‘Gone, On The Other Hand’, ‘The Moods Of Mary’, ‘Faded Love’, ‘California Girl (And The Tennessee Square)’, ‘Lovin’ Her Was Easier (Than Anything I’ll Ever Do Again)’, ‘Weight Of My Chains’, ‘Ain’t It All Worth Living For’ and ‘It’ll Be Her’. The Glaser Brothers also recorded as solo artists. Jim had US country hits with ‘The Man In The Mirror’, ‘When You’re Not A Lady’, ‘You Got Me Running’ and ‘You’re Gettin’ To Me Again’. Tompall along with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Jessi Colter released the first million selling country album ‘Wanted:The Outlaws’ which included Tompall’s songs “T for Texas” and “Put Another Log on the Fire”. Chuck’s song “Music Ain’t a Bad Life” was used in the hit television show ‘Better Call Saul’ and his song “All Alone With The Blues” can be heard in the new television show ‘Dr.Death’. Several Glaser Brothers’ songs such as “Let Me Down Easy”, “La Paloma”, “Running Gun” and “Words Come Easy” have been on many television shows over the past few years.
