Kid Lunch is the alias of Toronto-based artist Joshua Malinsky, founding member of 90s alt-rock band Poledo and frequent bandmate of artists such as Hayden and Howie Beck. After releasing his first solo record as Kid Lunch in 1999, Malinsky performed a few shows using members of Broken Social Scene as bandmates, then exiled himself into the wilderness¹ for over 15 years. 2020 brought the first new Kid Lunch music of the century, with full-album "Volume 2" released in February of that year. Keep an eye out for Kid Lunch at the next Coachella, Primavera Sound or Glastonbury festivals. You probably won't see him, but why not keep an eye out? ¹ = domesticity
