A.B. Quintanilla III is a Mexican-American record producer, songwriter and musician - older brother to Selena Quintanilla-Perez, known as "The Queen of Tejano music" . AB with his sisters Selena & Suzette - led by their parents Abraham & Marcela - rebooted Los Dinos in 1980. AB, as the bass player, also produced and wrote for Selena y los Dinos - creating successful singles, such as "Como la Flor," "Amor Prohibido," and "No Me Queda Más." After Selena's tragic departure, AB would form the Kumbia Kings and later, the Kumbia All Starz. A.B. Quintanilla III is the recipient of multiple Grammy's, BMI awards, and has 90 million RIAA certified albums sold. AB's work with his family has been inducted into the Library of Congress, received the LULAC Medal of Honor, and actively supports Saint Jude's Hospital. AB continues to produce, write songs, and release his own works - bringing the world his own style of cumbia - infusing pop, rock, rap, R&B, and mixing flavors familiar of many regions in Latin America and the world over to his Kumbias.
