In the realm of contemporary music, where boundaries blur and genres meld, few artists can claim to have explored the territories of sound as deeply as Christopher Bono. As a multi-dimensional/polymath composer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer, he has created acclaimed works, from the conceptual contemporary classical pieces of Bardo to the epic post-rock of Ghost Against Ghost. Bono's other albums span neo-classical, choral, improvisational, electronic, and ambient. Through these diverse genres, he navigates the complexities of our world and his place within it. Throughout his career Bono has explored the spectrum of how to create music, using vastly different approaches and styles to achieve stylistic results that increasingly tap into, not only, his devoted Buddhist practices but also yogic theory, shamanic teachings from around the world, wisdom teachings from Eastern Europe and ancient Greek philosophers. His extensive experience as a meditator and meditation teacher has further shaped his later works, which delve more deeply into Buddhist concepts and the theory of mind. Currently, Bono is developing immersive installations designed to guide listeners into a contemplative experience and to introduce meditation to wider audiences through captivating, interactive, and profoundly moving experiences. He hopes that through art, one can see the extraordinary in the ordinary everyday mind, highlighting the preciousness of all life and experience.
