Based the in the UK pianist and composer Carolyn Hume is a member of the duo Hume and May with drummer Paul May as well as being a solo artist. Her current work includes being a member of ‘Fourth Page’ with Paul May and Charlie Beresford. ...And her long standing duo with Paul May. Carolyn has worked and recorded with many artists including: Paul May, Charlie Beresford, Pete Marsh, Judie Tzuke, Patrick Dawes, Sonia Hammond, Oliver Coates, Duke Garwood, Russell Webb, John McGeoch, Essam Rashad, Kuljit Bhamra… She has released through ‘Leo Records’, ‘Forwind’ and ‘The 52nd’. Since 2000, Hume has recorded six duo works with Paul May and two solo recordings with composition for voice and cello on ‘Leo Records’. Hume and May 7th album 'Shape of the Night' is out now May 2024.
