Biography

In 1992, Bill Clinton was playing the saxophone on the Arsenio Hall show. All was well—or was it? Universal Order of Armageddon felt otherwise, making music that sounded an alarm. Co-founded in ’92 by Moss Icon’s Tonie Joy, UOA lasted just two years, but extensively toured the US’s DIY circuit of halls, basements, and dives, whilst recording an album and a handful of singles for labels such as Kill Rock Stars and Gravity Records. Like alien visitors from the Other, they were taking the confessions of desperate road trolls, drawing the attention of misinformed law enforcement seeking out domestic terrorists, all the while perfecting a unique sound that 30 years later is still ahead of it’s time. Armageddon is now!
