Idiosyncratic instrumental guitarist, Tim Scott has a unique sound deriving inspiration from any style that crosses his path. He has a savvy way of combining multiple genres while retaining his own esoteric personality. Elements of Funk, Latin, Pop and Rock pervade his music. Although being compared to the likes of Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai and Steve Lukathar may have prompted a less ambitious musician to perpetually play it safe, something which Scott has absolutely failed to do. His passion for mixing his melodic virtuosity with chilled dance/pop styles such as Drum and Bass, Trap, House, EDM and Dubstep, knows no boundaries. His career took off selling his debut ‘Bald On The Inside’ through Borders in the UK. In 2004 his CD hit the top 200 sellers list whilst touring Borders and performing in Starbucks. They collaborated on several tracks and Tim was flown out to play the Ibiza Radio 1 weekend two years in a row. Tim says his unique creativity comes from his dyslexia. He commented “I always found it easier to make up my own music than to read, virtually everything I’ve learnt is by ear and the mistakes I make learning by ear are often the prime inspiration for my new compositions.” Tim is touring his own music in Germany for 2024.
