Thundercat is the virtuoso bassist & singer Stephen Bruner, a mercurial talent and multi-GRAMMY award winner. In 2023, Thundercat linked with Tame Impala releasing “No More Lies,”. A musical match made in heaven, the duo of Bruner & Parker is an electrifying union. The song hits the sweet spot between their two individual, complementary styles with laser accuracy. Thundercat’s 2020 album, It Is What It Is, won the GRAMMY for Best Progressive R&B Album, and features Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Lil B, Kamasi Washington, Steve Lacy, Steve Arrington, BADBADNOTGOOD, & more. It was co-produced by Thundercat and longtime friend and musical partner Flying Lotus. The name Thundercat refers to the cartoon he's loved since childhood and an extension of his wide-eyed, vibrant, often superhuman approach to his craft.
