Biography

An invigorating fusion of Caribbean-Dutch heritage and old-school house, Shermanology, the brainchild of brother and sister Andy and Dorothy Sherman, presents an infectious world of 90’s nostalgia and funk reinvention. Shermanology sustains a festival-packed schedule, including performances at EDC Mexico, BPM Festival, Kappa Futur Festival, ADE, Art Basel, Hideout, and Rio's The Town with an audience capacity of 100,000. Since their single "Boyz N Da Club" was dubbed 'Hottest Record in the World' by Annie Mac on BBC Radio One, a viral release on their own imprint D’Eaupe, Shermanology have seen widely successful releases on esteemed labels Hot Creations, Cuttin Headz, and Defected, as well as collaborations with with Fisher on "It's A Killa" and remixes for house legends Todd Edwards and Fatboy Slim. The duo have brought their unique sound to iconic parties hosted by El Row, Paradise, He.She.They, LaLaLand, and made appearances at venues such as Space Miami and Drumsheds. Shermanology stands poised to become a global sensation, with praise from the likes of BET, Mixmag, DJ Mag, and more. Shermanology’s most recent collaboration joins forces with legendary 90s R&B group Boyz II Men in a reimagined house rendition of their hit “Motown Philly”, out on Three Six Zero Records, which continues to make its way through A-List radio. A family affair teeming with soul, Shermanology consistently pays homage to their global heritage from Curaçao and The Netherlands.
