Back in 1987, the Los Angeles-based band Wednesday Week, fronted by singer/guitarist Kristi Callan, drew favorable comparisons to The Bangles with their acclaimed album, What We Had. After the breakup of that band, Callan spent time playing or recording with such luminaries as David Gray, Dave Davies, The Ventures, The Wondermints, The Cruzados, etc. before forming Dime Box Band, which she currently plays in with her son James. Wednesday Week has reunited, not only with each other, but also with Don Dixon, the producer of What We Had, to record a 4-song EP due out in 2021. Feed the Kitty, released in 2003 was her first solo effort.
