Biography

Some opposites do more than just attract. Such a union drives Brooklyn duo Great Good Fine Ok. Vocalist Jon Sandler and producer and multi-instrumentalist Luke Moellman seem like a study in contrasts. Often clad in space age glittery jackets, and bathed in a laser glow, Sandler’s voice stretches from singer-songwriter sensitivity to funky falsetto. Something of an aural mad scientist, Moellman quietly draws on nearly two decades of production experience and an expansive arsenal of instruments. “Luke is very much the technical mind, and I’m very much the emotional lyricist,” affirms Sandler. In 2013, the musicians recorded a debut viral and critical hit entitled “You’re The One For Me.” A pair of EPs—Body Diamond and 2M2H soon followed. In 2015 they co-wrote and performed The Chainsmokers single “Let You Go.” The next two EPs, III and GGFOUR which include anthems “Take It or Leave It”, "Change" and “Easy” would pave the way for several headline tours, performances at Comedy Central's Clusterfest, Bonnaroo Music Festival, and the release of their single, "Find Yourself", a collaboration with Before You Exit. The past few years have included a sold out 6 city tour of China, performances at Firefly and Bunbury Music Festivals, a collaboration with The Knocks called “Lucky Me” and their 5th EP, Great Good Five Ok which LADYGUNN Magazine describes as “a smooth and varied back and forth between Modern Electropop sounds and a luxurious Nu-Disco - an exercise in plasticity."
