Jimmy was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He spent the bulk of his music career as a utility player, covering fiddle, dobro, banjo, and guitar with the likes of Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Shawn Camp, Rascal Flatts, Country Music Hall of Famer, Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, and Reba McEntire Jimmy has recorded and performed live with some of Nashville’s finest musicians, and as a songwriter has had cuts by Chris Stapleton, Tim O'brien, Mountain Heart, and Joe Diffie Jimmy was signed to Warner Brothers Records from around 2005-2008, resulting in a full album being produced by Paul Worley, even featuring a duet with Dolly Parton. Sadly, only one track Angel Of The Night was ever made available online before being dropped from WB. In the fall of 2013, he went into the studio to record a new solo album "Poor Rambler" with the help of Guthrie Trapp and a lineup of other notable musicians. It's distributed by Tunecore and is available now at all online music stores.
