Artist name SHY because that’s truly one of my personality traits. Fell in love with music at a very young age. Hip-hop/Rap in the 90’s illustrated my reality growing up in North Philadelphia. From the bold beats and raw lyrics, to the delivery and the style I was instantly captivated by the culture. Listening to some of my favorite artists such as The Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Nas, 2pac, DMX and many others inspired me to use the same vehicle being Hip-hop to express my thoughts and feelings. I never desired fame but I always had a passion to create music that will have a long lasting positive impact on those from my community and spread out around the world. With my debut album “Soul Purpose” I look forward to achieving that goal. Peace and love from myself to all the Kings and Queens universal.
