Biography

NYC singer-songwriter and visual artist Fiorious catapulted to the forefront of the house music scene with 2019’s political call-to-arms I’m Not Defeated and has since been championed by Attitude Magazine as a "boundary-pushing new queer voice,” "a specialist in stirring emotions" by Mixmag, and hailed as "the new generation’s Byron Stingily" by FAITH Magazine. Effortlessly gliding between thumping house and soulful disco, Fiorious continues to collaborate with a remarkable list of artists including Honey Dijon, Purple Disco Machine, Dimitri From Paris, Cassius, Roger Sanchez, Horse Meat Disco, and Marshall Jefferson, with his first three Defected/Glitterbox singles garnering huge support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, and Mark Ronson. Building on this momentum, 2023 saw a string of heavyweight house collabs with Henrik Schwarz, Midland, Deetron, Bawrut, and Austin Ato, while 2024 began with the irresistible NYC block-party vibes of the project Saturday Love with Kon on Sweat It Out. February will see a dynamic new single on Domino with UK indie hero and frequent collaborator Joe Goddard on the pulsating "New World (Flow)", the first single from the Hot Chip producer's forthcoming solo album. As Wonderland wrote in last year: “When it comes to pushing generic boundaries and challenging their own artistry, singer-songwriter Fiorious is truly paving the way."
