Steinunn Jónsdóttir is an Icelandic singer, rapper and songwriter best known for being a member of the eight piece, all female rap group Reykjavíkurdætur or “The Daughters of Reykjavik” and the popular reggae Amabadama. Currently, she embarks on an exciting solo journey, collaborating with her husband Gnúsi Yones, a gifted songwriter and producer. Previously, they achieved great success in their home country as founders and members and songwriters of Amabadama. While rooted in their love for reggae music, their music also incorporates elements of their Icelandic heritage, resulting in a unique and refreshing sound that resonates with listeners worldwide.
