Biography

He starts playing the bass guitar at the age of 9 that was given to him by his brother who played the guitar. At the young age of 17 he began his long career which sees him engaged as a session man alongside various artists including: Paolo Conte, Eugenio Finardi, 883, Patty Pravo, Gerardina Trovato, Bruno Lauzi, playing with musicians such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Ray Mantilla, Paolo Fresu, Solis String Quartet, Lucio Dalla, Eddie Martinez. He also plays with Luca Carboni and Marco Ferradini at the beginning of his career before being chosen to replace Marco Nanni in the band Stadio. He was chosen after Gaetano Curreri and Giovanni Pezzoli, looking for a bassist, saw him play in a Carboni concert in Acireale. Since 1991 he has been part of the permanent line-up of the Stadio group, with whom he has recorded dozens of records, performed hundreds of concerts and participated in various live television broadcasts including the 1999 Sanremo Festival with the song The backpack the Sanremo Festival 2007 with the song Look at me and finally at the Sanremo Festival 2016 with the song One day you will tell me winner of the event. In December 2016 he released his first solo album Mondoraro in digital preview and then in 2017 it was also released on CD and Vinyl. In addition to playing the electric bass, he plays the keyboards, the acoustic and electric guitar.
