Biography

Martin Zarzar is a world music artist who sings in various languages. A graduate of Berklee College of Music where he attended on a scholarship, and former Member of the Band Pink Martini, his music has many influences ranging from jazz to rock, flamenco, pop, classical music, various afro-latin genres, North African music, Middle Eastern music, and more. He plays several instruments and composes instrumental music as well which has been featured in films and documentaries as well as dance productions in places like The National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. He is mostly known for his beloved and unique versions of Latin American classics.
