Moses Mo is the original guitarist and founding member of the legendary funk rock group Mother's Finest His unique sound and rhythms helped to define the funk rock musical genre through the discography of the group with the early albums recorded on RCA, CBS/Epic, and Atlantic such as Mother's Finest by Mother's Finest, Another Mother Further, Mother Factor, Mother'S Finest Live, and Iron Age with classics such as Fire, Truth'll Set You Free, Micky's Monkey, Love Changes, Baby Love - Live, Magic Carpet Ride - Live, Gone With Th' Rain and Evolution In the mid-eighties, Moses Mo released two albums on Geffen Records/Universal Music with Jay Willard and the USA band Illusion, Illusion by Illusion and I Like It Loud. After recording and touring for many years as a part of a group or performing with other artists, Moses Mo realized his personal songwriting catalog was growing ever larger and had yet to be recorded and released. The time had come to release his own projects. The first being release Cartoon You featured songs Can You Tell Me with Steve Stone A.R.S. on mandolin and Caroline Aiken on harmony vocals, Rhythm of the Head featuring Andrew Black on SKAT vocals, and Try Me featuring Eric Frampton and Caroline. The newest release Two Ton Message features songs Move on Through, Soul Wrecker with Kerry Denton on drums, All the Time and Can't Have Nothin' featuring Kenny Soule on drums, Ivan Bodley on bass, Zerobasement on rap vocals, and Tomi on backround vocals.
