The Rumour originally formed in Huntly in New Zealand in the late 60s. Featuring twins Shade and Gerard Smith, Sjaaki Koolen and Ross Hindman the Rumour scored several hits in the early 70s including the Number One smash hit ‘ L’Amour Est L’Enfant De La Liberté’.
