Biography

Winners of Gold (2023), Silver (2023) and Bronze (2021) Telly Awards and an American Prize this year for their Worldwide Choir of Return to Me (2nd Place, Virtual Performance), composer Emil Adler, writer Julie Flanders and vocalist Marina Belica of October Project are award-winning, genre-defying recording artists, producers and content providers who collaborate in the creation of musical recordings and events. Powered by Flanders’ words, Adler’s music, and the group’s trademark harmonies, their earlier work with SONY/Epic and subsequent recordings have been enjoyed by millions (72M+ streams on Spotify,. 75M+ views on YouTube). Bridging the worlds of pop, classical, a cappella and choral, they continue to innovate the landscape of Independent Music. “This Is For You,” the latest from the group’s upcoming album, The Ghost of Childhood, is their 2nd collaboration with Ukrainian sand artist Kseniya Simonova, following upon “Angels in the Garden,” which won a 2023 Silver Telly, was up for a GRAMMY for Best Music Video, and is a fundraiser for the IRC in Ukraine, Angels For Ukraine. Their 2023 Gold Telly-winning Worldwide Choir of Return To Me, featuring 130 performers from 18 countries, produced by Emil Adler and conducted by Ryan Heller, featured the same creative team that won a 2021 Bronze Telly & Anthem Award for their Virtual Choir of Joy. The band will release the next single from The Ghost of Childhood, “Changing Light of Love,” in February of 2024.
